Remodel an outdated retail travel facility to conform to new corporate standards while maintaining business operations in a temporary facility during construction.
Approach
J.P. Salemi, Inc. began the project by constructing a temporary business facility in a vacated space adjacent to the client's current location. This initial construction allowed the client to provide uninterrupted service throughout the construction process. After relocating the existing business, a total demolition and remodel of the original space took place.
Result
The project was completed to the delight of the tenant, property manager and code officials in a four-week time period. The former, outdated facility was transformed into a new state-of-the-art, corporate standard design. Corporate components integrated into the build-out included a custom-designed floor with inlay and detailed millwork.
